Our staff turnover rate is low. They are fully certified by ECDA and have excellent experience in their teaching area. Teachers have been with Rainforest for 4 to 11 years. Parents are delighted with our long-service teachers. Our Montessori teachers also obtained certification from the United Kingdom.
Caroline is the operator of Rainforest Schoolhouse and ECDA’s certified preschool principal, educator, and UK-certified Montessori director.
She acquired the Rainforest Schoolhouse in June 2015. She graduated from National University with a bachelor’s degree in Information and Computer Science in 1987. She started her career with the National Computer System. Then, she served the late Mr Kwek Leng Joo (President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry) as Assistant Executive Director until he stepped down from his presidency.
She took over the Cyber Business Network established by the chamber. She led the Singapore pioneer dot-com company, attracting millions in investment from associates of Hong Kong business magnate and investor Li Ka-Shing and developing 90% of Singapore’s government portals. After the dot-com bubble burst, Ho Bee Land’s chairman invited her to serve as the general manager of administrative and special projects. She served Mr. Chua Thian Poh for 10 years before taking over Rainforest Schoolhouse.
Caroline is effectively bilingual in English and Chinese. She has rendered about twenty years of community service to Cheng San GRC and Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC.
