Montessori Lessons

There are five learning domains (Practical Life, Sensory, Language, Mathematical, and Cultural). Through structured Montessori learning materials, children will fully develop their cognitive, language, mathematical, and motor skills. They can work with the presented materials daily and master the knowledge at their own pace. Rainforest classrooms have over 100 learning materials to support children’s learning needs.

Thematic Lessons

The theme for the Thematic lessons changes quarter by quarter.
  • In the first quarter (My World), the children will learn about themselves, people in their communities, hobbies, buildings in the environment, etc.
  • In the second quarter (Animal World), children will learn about the seven groups of animals: fish, insects, mammals, birds, reptiles, mollusks, and amphibians.
  • In the third quarter (Discover the World), children will discover animals and plants life cycle, weather, disasters, the solar system, and more.
  • In the fourth quarter (Travel the World), children will learn about transportation, culture, and festivals worldwide.

Chinese Lessons

In addition to learning to read and write, children will also learn the complete set of Hanyu Pinyin (汉语拼音), forming sentences (造句), and Chinese Idioms (成语). The lessons include art and craft activities as well as music and dance.

Field trips, Family Day, and Signature Annual Concert

Quarterly field trips, such as visiting places of interest and attending musical shows, are organized for the children. Families enjoy our annual family day events. Our Signature Annual Concert cum Graduation Ceremony receives overwhelming compliments from parents each year.

Morning Outdoor Activities

Children will have an hour of outdoor activities in the school's playground or at the nearby public playgrounds daily.

Special Morning Programme

There are monthly morning cookery and water games.
